Oliver Typewriter Co. was founded by Thomas Oliver in 1895 in Chicago, Illinois, who was frustrated by the early “blind” typewriters, which struck the ribbon from underneath the paper. Before Oliver came along in the 1890s you had to stop typing and turn a lever to see what you had written. The U-shaped bar on Oliver Typewriters acted as a “down strike” onto the typewriter ribbon, allowing typists to see what they were typing in real time – something we take for granted today.

CREATED WITH CARE - This tee will be imprinted with the design shown in our product picture. This is accomplished through the use of digital print technology for the perfect print and alignment. Each shirt is inspected thoroughly before being shipped to you to make sure it meets rigid product standards.
